Question by CJunk: Shouldn’t people keep their ‘spirit guides’ to themselves?
This one time at my house my wife had a cousin over. They were talking in the kitchen while I was on the table doing stuff. They were talking about the ‘native american’ totum pole I had bought. The cousin said “I really like native american stuff”. My wife said “(CJunk) is a native american, he is Cherokee”
The cousin turned to me and said “wow thats cool”
I said “yeah well, you know”
Then she said “My Native american Spirit Guide is a Cherokee Princess”
Well, I was just about to ask “So how long has she been in Australia?” untill I fully realised what she just said so I was looking at her speachless untill I slipped out “ummm….. ok”. What the hell I am I supposed to say to something like that?
Aren’t these crackpots meant to keep this nonesense to themselves??
Dont they at least learn “the unspiritual just wont understand”….or something similiar?
Is it common for such people to forget that most people on earth think such things are silly?
do you have a similiar story to tell? please tell.

I think people should be more open minded.
That kind of stuff has never bothered me. There’s plenty to get angry about in the world, I don’t think it’s worth my time to be offended by things like that.
