Question by ladedamom: Need some game ideas for a three year olds party..?
My son is turning three in March and we’re trying to plan ahead a little for his birthday so we’re not rushing the last minute with little details. He decided he wants to do Disney Cars for his party this year and I am stumped for ideas on games that three year olds can handle to keep them entertained for two hours with this particular theme. We will have cake and icecream at the party and when they arrive I’ll have Cars coloring sheets for them to do. I also thought about saving empty plastic bottles from water and putting tractor cut outs on the front to let the kids toss bean bags at to do “tractor tipping” but I need some more entertainment ideas centered around the theme. Any game we play they will get a prize just for trying since they are only three year olds and most kids won’t understand the idea of winning/losing when playing a game in a group just yet.. The party is going to be in the afternoon and is only going to be 2 hours long so watching the movie is not really an option. We’re also not big on renting entertainment either for parties and the party will be at our home. He’s inviting about eight friends from church and friends kids we know to his party.
Any simple game ideas for three year olds on the cars theme would be helpful. Thanks.

The Magic of Lassie is a film from 1978 Starring James Stewart and Mickey Rooney. James Stewart ownes a Vinyard in California and man would like to buy it but he will not sell. His two grandkids live with him and his grandson has a dog name Lassie. This mean man is able to claim Lassie as his and tries to use the dog to get the vinyard. Lassie escapes and travels across country to find her way home while the grandson runs away and tries to find Lassie. This was a great family show when I was young and have been looking for it for years. Some please help me find this movie and buy it. Thank you all.

Like, some people add arches, or columns, or things like that. BUT~ I want to add those things,… are there any other things like those that can make my own house “mine”? I don’t want it to be ‘normal’…
and I already know about furniture and stuff, so i want ideas on things that are ‘built in’ to the house.
(right now we have arches and a built in music system.. but i have no other ideas other than that!)

Im looking to attract more clients and I was wondering for any loan officers who have done it, if putting in a 3 lined ad in a 200k circulated paper might be good for attracting promising clients. If so whats the guestimated number of calls that you have recieved from putting it in the sunday edition, and what are some reccomended tips on whats to say in the ad? “We will work with you”? “100% FHA financed”?

California Mortgage Rates for Refinance and Home Purchase Loans Hit the Lowest Levels of the Year

California Mortgage Rates continue their free fall. According to Freddie Mac average 30 Year Fixed Mortgage rates peaked this year at 5.05% in early February. Shashank Shekhar, on one of his posts written on his widely acclaimed mortgage blog commented that mortgage rates have been going down primarily because of weaker economic data. Some of the recent news contributing to rate decline are:

Index of Leading Indicators falling 0.3% in April, first fall since June 2010
